June 2

The Washington County Sheriff’s Department reported a theft from a motor vehicle. Brian M. Vedder, 37, of Lowell, Ore., had a spreader bar taken from his company vehicle while it was parked in Ashley.

The Sheriff’s Dept. arrested Ryan D. Wooley, 30, of Okawville, on an outstanding Washington County warrant.

Samantha M. Pruitt, 24, of DuQuoin, was driving a 1998 Mercedes SUV when her vehicle left the roadway and struck a concrete culvert, causing the SUV to roll over. Pruitt was transported to Pinckneyville Community Hospital for minor injuries. Pruitt was cited by the Washington County Sheriff’s Dept. for improper lane usage, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, driving under the influence, and endangering the life of a child.

Kristen P. Rybick, 21, of Ashley, was arrested by the Sheriff’s Dept. for domestic battery.

June 3

The Sheriff’s Dept. responded to I-64 near mile marker 47 for an accident involving a deer. Tyler Telkamp, 19, of Slayton, Minn., struck a deer. No injuries were reported.

The Sheriff’s Dept. responded to a one vehicle A vehicle driven by by Dennis D. Schuchmann, 37, of Centralia, struck a ditch. No injuries were reported.

The Sheriff’s Dept. responded to a domestic disturbance in Okawville to assist the Okawville Police Department.

June 4

The Sheriff’s Dept. arrested Nicholas S. Bathon, 28, of Ashley, for driving while license suspended. He was issued a citation for speeding.

The Sheriff’s Dept. responded to St. Rt. 15 and Co. Hwy. 11 for a report of a dead deer in the roadway. The carcass was removed from the roadway.

June 5

The Sheriff’s Dept. attempted to return a phone call to a resident of rural Nashville for a report of fraud.

The Sheriff’s Dept. assisted the Irvington Police Department with a traffic crash report.

The Sheriff’s Dept. The Sheriff’s Dept. assisted the Okawville Police Department with a warrant arrest on I-64.

June 6

The Sheriff’s Dept. responded to 1124 W. Broadway St. in DuBois in reference to a lost animal found in Caseyville.

June 7

The Sheriff’s Dept. responded to Irvington in reference to a possible fight.

The Sheriff’s Dept. took a report of burglary from a residence in rural Richview.

The Sheriff’s Dept. took a report of a burglary from a resident of Hoyleton.
