June 8

The Nashville Police Department responded to the 300 block of E. Lebanon for vehicle damage.

Police responded to Memorial Park, Pavilion 1 for a report of a domestic battery. Jingshan Yi, 64, of Nashville, called and stated that he had hit his wife and that he was going to hit her again. Yi was arrested for domestic battery after an investigation was conducted.

Officers responded to I-64 westbound near mile marker 59 to assist the Washington County Sheriff’s Department with a physical domestic dispute and a female subject running into traffic, attempting to kill herself. The female subject was taken to the hospital by ambulance.

Police responded to 125 E. David Dr. to remove an unwanted subject from the premises. Upon arrival, police discovered that subject, Jacob McCandless, 20, of Collinsville, had pulled a knife on Edward Meach, 20, of Nashville, threatening to stab him. McCandless was arrested for assault.

Officers responded to the 100 block of E. David Dr. for a theft of WiFi service.

Police responded to the area of E. David Dr. and Sonya St. for a suspicious person.

June 9

Officers arrested Ricardo Trujillo, 52, of Murphysboro, on an outstanding Williamson County warrant. The arrest followed a traffic stop.

Police issued Greg Kitowski two citations for city ordinance violations. The first was for unkempt and overgrown vegetation, while the second was for having an offensive odor on the property which then crossed to neighbors’ properties.

Officers responded to the 300 block of W. Lebanon St. for suspicious activity.

Police responded to the 400 block of E. St. Louis St. for an animal complaint.

June 10

Police responded to a two-vehicle accident in the parking lot of Little Nashville. A vehicle driven by Catherine Albers, of Nashville, struck a parked vehicle owned by Mark Matecki, of Ashley. There were no injuries.

Officers conducted a welfare check on the 400 block of N. Hoffman St.

Police assisted EMS with a medical call on the 700 block of E. Holzhauer Dr.

Officers took a trespassing complaint from the 800 block of S. Mill St.

Police took a report of damage to a vehicle from the 100 block of N. Mill St.

Officers took a report of a gas drive-off from Casey’s.
