4H Horse Show
The Washington County 4-H Horse Show took place on June 14, despite the rainy weather. 4-H Program Coordinator, Amanda Fox Clark, said the exhibitors were great sports about showing in less than perfect conditions that evening. The show takes place at the Oakdale Saddle Club arena each year.

The next Washington County 4-H Show will be on June 24 at St. Paul’s United Church of Christ in Nashville. The Home Economics Show will open at 6 p.m. with a style show. Judging of clothing, foods, child development and interior design projects will open at 6:30 p.m. Group presentations, public speaking and food demonstrations will all take place between 7:30 and 8 p.m. followed by the selection of State Fair Delegates. Some of the Washington County 4-H Horse Show winners include: LEFT, Emily Wisely, who received the Grand Champion Horse Award; CENTER, Morgan Fox, who was the Champion in Senior Showmanship; and RIGHT, Emily Wisely, Overall Participation Reserve Champion, and Kinze Fox Overall Participation Champion.
