The Hoyleton Community Club held its monthly meeting on June 16. The agenda was focused on the 47th Annual Hofbraufest. Flyers have been printed and anyone wishing to post a flyer, please contact Carlene Michel at 493-6013. Raffle tickets are also available and can be picked up from Carlene. The Appreciation Dinner for all Hofbraufest workers has been set for July 17; if you are interested in working at the Hofbraufest and have not yet been contacted, please call Carlene or contact this writer. All volunteers are much appreciated by the Club.

The 5K Committee also met on the 16th and the committee is once again culminating a well-organized race.

The 9th Annual Hofbraufest 5K Run/Walk features a fast course; the course is flat road out and back. Registration by July 4 is $20 and includes a free t-shirt. Runners may register for $25 after July 5. The Youth Run for ages 12 and under begins at 9 a.m. The youth runners finishing 1st, 2nd, and 3rd are awarded medals.
