Failure is not failure that stops most people, but rather the belief that failure is permanent. Failure is nothing more than a storm in the weather forecast for the week- it comes and it goes, and it waters next season’s yield because it teaches us where to improve.

On Wednesday Sandy Epplin introduced Rosemary Koenigstein and Ora Mae Droege to a new antique store in Highland “Windows on Broadway”. On their brochure it says “Where one of a kind is our vision in your world”. One of a kind they have many one of a kind items. If you need gas nozzles, butter churns, etc they have 15 or more. Lunch was eaten at the newly remodeled Urban Farmhouse Eatery and Pie Co. At the beginning we weren’t too impressed as you went up to place your order and get your drinks. They brought the food to you. After tasting the food, which was delicious, our opinion was somewhat changing. Carrot cake was delicious. Our only opinion was we liked to be waited on. We are getting older and spoiled. They are trying to keep their food prices down with this style of restaurant.

Onto the Swiss Gift Shop, The Giving Tree and Hallmark store before returning home. The light rain didn’t dampen our day. We are glad we can still get together.
