Mrs. Edith Rawlins of Nashville departed this life at her residence in Nashville on Saturday, July 4, 2015 at 4:34 a.m. She had attained the age of 94 years and 20 days.
Mrs. Rawlins was born on June 14, 1921 in Ashley, the daughter of Henry and Nellie (Boswell) Sensel. She was united in marriage to Elroy Pieper on October 15, 1941, and he preceded her in death on July 9, 1986. She later married Milton Rawlins on June 1, 1987 and he preceded her in death on August 10, 2012.
Edith was a homemaker and worked at Diedrich’s Department Store in Nashville for several years. She was a faithful member of the St. Paul United Church of Christ in Nashville.
Left to mourn her passing is a niece and nephew, cousins and other relatives and friends.
`She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, and three sisters, Roberta Sensel, Alberta Sensel and Reva Coultas.
Graveside funeral services will be held at St Paul United Church of Christ Cemetery in Nashville on Wednesday July 8 at 1 p.m. with Pastor Beverly Kehle officiating. Friends are asked to go directly to the cemetery on Wednesday for the service.
Should friends desire memorials may be made to the St. Paul United Church of Christ or the Washington County Hospital in Nashville and will be accepted by the Campagna Funeral Home.
