Mrs. Blondine F. Liszewski of Nashville, departed this life at her daughter’s residence in St. Louis, on Thursday, July 16, 2015 at 6:30 a.m. She had attained the age of 95 years, 2 months and 21 days.

Mrs. Liszewski was born on April 25, 1920 in Bolo Township, Washington County, the daughter of Theodore and Rosalie (Mozelewski) Kitowski, Sr. She was united in marriage to Theodore Liszewski on June 28, 1941 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Posen, and he preceded her in death on August 31, 2012.

Blondine was a devoted wife, loving and generous mother and grandmother whose presence in our life will be deeply missed. She was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Posen.

Left to mourn her passing are her three children, Pat Young and her husband Jim of St. Louis, Harry Liszewski and his wife Clara of Columbia, and Karen Liszewski and her special friend Kevin Hartzke of St. Louis; four grandchildren, Michael Liszewski and his wife Jody, Alicia Robinson and her husband TJ, Amy Politte and her husband Rick and Douglas Young and his wife Melissa; 12 great grandchildren, one great great grandchild, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three brothers, Theodore, Alphonse and Benedict Kitowski; a sister, Stella Wisniewski; and two sisters in infancy, Helen and Martha Kitowski.

Mass of Christian burial was held at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Posen, on Tuesday, July 21, 2015 with Fr. Bernard Goedde officiating, burial followed in the church cemetery.

A prayer service was held at the funeral home on Monday at 7:30 p.m.

Should friends desire, mass offerings or memorials may be made to the Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church and will be accepted by the Campagna Funeral Home.
