Czajkowski Reunion Held July 12

Sunday July 12, the descendants of Walter and Victoria (Wnuk) Czajkowski gathered at the Nashville American Legion. A potluck lunch was shared and the family enjoyed visiting or swimming the rest of the day.

The oldest in attendance was Theresa (Leo) Czajkowski and the youngest was Camden Ogrzewalla. Traveling the farthest was Joan Ahrens of Wylie, TX. The family with the most attending was Dorothy (Louis) Czajkowski.

Sue Lochhead had her book of genealogy research and everyone enjoyed looking through her pictures and documents. Sharon Ogrzewalla brought old pictures and letters (some from WWII) to share with family. These items were discovered in boxes from the Andrew and Jannivie Czajkowski estate.

Those in attendance from the Ed Czajkowski Family were: Gene and Carolyn Czajkowski and Mary Ann Schillinger of Chesterfield, MO and Albert and Arlene Czajkowski of Edwardsville, IL. From the Mary Czajkowski Zgonina Family were: Dean Lochhead, Mike and Susan Lochhead, Janet and Mia Lochhead and David and Shelly Lochhead all of Chester and Joan Ahrens of Plano, TX. From the Leo Czajkowski Family were: Theresa Czajkowski; Glen, Judy and Andi Malick of Florissant, MO and Scott, Carrie, Andrew, Ben and Jake Malick of St. Peters, MO. From the Louis Czajkowski Family were: Dorothy Czajkowski of Nashville, Ray Malick of Ashley; Dennis and Pattie Czajkowski of Wentzville, MO; Gery and Pat Czajkowski of Mehlville, MO; Ron, Denise, Bryan and Lauren Czajkowski of Ashley; Karen and Jerry Warren and Dylan Warren and Macie Eickmeyer of Nashville. From the Andrew Czajkowski Family were: Gloria Hendricks; Linda and Marty Kemper; Sharon Ogrzewalla; Tom, Ashlee, Hadley and Camden Ogrzewalla of Nashville; Alan, Mary, Alana and Aaron Czajkowski of Ashley and Lily and Hazel Kemper of O’Fallon, IL.

It was discussed and voted to go to a bi-annual reunion. The next reunion will be held on July 9, 2017 at the American Legion in Nashville, IL.
