Nashville Blue Racers Place 2nd In Conference Meet Saturday

The Conference Championship Meet was held on Saturday July 25 at Carlyle pool. 

Nashville brought 38 swimmers to the meet. 

There are 6 teams that compete from  Nashville, Carlyle, Chester Pinckneyville, Red Bud and Millstadt. 

There are about 300 swimmers that compete in events that range from age 8 to 18. 

The Blue Racers team finished in 2nd place overall with a score of 270.50. 

The girls team placed 3rd with a score of 118.50, and the boys team got 2nd with a score 152. 

The Racers had several swimmers medal (having placed 1,2,or 3rd) and the most swimmers going home with ribbons for places 4-6 in their individual races. 

The Racer’s 13-14 boys age group won high point age group award, as did the 15-18 boys.

This season, The Blue Racers have competed in ten different meets
