Good news, for all of you who love liver and onions. The Lantern Pub will be serving them up on Thursday, July 30. This is a special treat for some of us, so you better get there early.

Happy birthday to Miss Alexis Marie Thomas who will be 7 on Friday July 31. This is my BFF, sometimes, as she has many BFF’s.

The Richview United Methodist Church was blessed to have Jean Speicer speak for our Sunday worship service. Next week Leroy Niederhofer will be our Lay speaker, service begins at 10.

If you have not had a chance to get your raffle tickets for the Richview Cemetery 10th annual fundraiser, contact Nancy Russell, Patty Hardesty or Rick True. Tickets are six for $5 on a chance to win a Queen Size hand-stitched quilt. Please give generously. Send your donation to Richview Cemetery Association, PO Box 22, Richview, Illinois, 62877. Tickets will be completed for you, according to the amount of your donation.

Royal Neighbor members, Chris Newcomb, Scharon McCoy, Sue Mayberry and I took Teddy Bears to PAVE on Wednesday of last week. This is the last year that the RNA home office will fund the ‘Teddy Bear’ program. Stay tuned to the announcement of the “Matching Funds Event.”

If you live in the Richview community and are in need of food, please give Pastor Dennis Gambill a call at 249-6014 or 322-9038 to get on the list for pick-up on Saturday, August 22.
