Chamber Board Selects New Members, Announces Fall Festival Schedule

The Nashville Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors met Wednesday, August 5 and filled their roster to seven members again.

Pam Smith no longer works at the Nashville News and therefore was no longer a paid member of the Chamber, so she had to step down as President, and Brian Rusiewski took on new duties with his job at Kroger, so he will not be able to be at all the meetings and stepped down as a director, but will remain an active member of the Chamber.

The Board had been looking for people interested in filling the vacancies and they approved of attorney Letisha Luecking Orlet and Nashville Community Center Director Jennifer Szopinski to be on the Board.

For many months, the Board has been rewriting the Bylaws for the Chamber, as it has been over 17 years since they were last revised.  At the Wednesday meeting, they approved of the revisions and will have the new Bylaws sent out to all Chamber members.

Fall Festival is moving along and a list of the activities was presented to the Board.
