Here it is August already, where has the summer gone? Who out there has tomatoes? Hope you all are enjoying the fruits of your labor, or other peoples labor in my case. I love to grow flowers but not much into vegetables. Next year I think I will try some container tomatoes. Nothing better than a BLT… I did put up 6 quarts of corn, first time I ever tried that. I will be ready for the pros next year.

Misty Faulkner of Ashley was kind enough to provide the RUMC Food Pantry with homegrown green peppers and squash.

Pastor Dennis and Donna have returned from vacationing in Louisiana. They were both glad to be back home and with their church families on Sunday morning.

A District-wide Revival kicks off at Ashley UMC, Sunday September 20 thru Wednesday September 23 with four nights of preaching, testimonies and music.
