The Nashville Chamber of Commerce had their General Membership meeting Wednesday, August 12, and they introduced one of the new Board members, Jennifer Szopinski, as she fills one of the openings recently made due to two Board members no longer able to serve.
The other new member, attorney Letisha Luecking Orlet, was in court and was not able to be at the meeting.
The Fall Festival is nearly ready to go, as there are now 33 vendors and seven food vendors signed up, but there is still some booth space available, so call Doris Povolish at the Chamber office at 327-3700 for more information.
Flyers are starting to circulate throughout the County, so be looking for them.
Volunteers are needed to help with set up Thursday, September 24, as well as manning the Chamber booth and the beer stand.
The new Bylaws were emailed to all Chamber members, but if some member wants a hard copy, they can print that email or phone Povolish at the Chamber Office to get a copy.
The Chamber Night at the Gateway Grizzlies game is Sunday, September 6 and it is the final home game of the season, so there will be plenty of specials and other fun. Tickets are available for $15 at the Chamber Office.
The next General Membership meeting is on Wednesday, September 9 at Eagles Nest in Addieville.
