August 11

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office reported Ross R. Schomaker, 30 of Nashville, IL struck a deer on Dubois Blacktop Rd. near Loon Road. No injuries were reported.

Nathan W. Page, 26, of Centralia, IL was arrested on an outstanding Washington County warrant.

The Sherrif’s Office assisted the ISP with an accident on St. Rt. 15 near Crow Rd.

The Sherrif’s Office took a domestic disturbance report from Ashley.

The Sherrif’s Office assisted the Illinois State Police with a two vehicle crash.

Matthew A. Sprehe, 30 of Okawville was arrested and issued citations by the Washington County Sheriff’s Office for speeding, illigal transportation of alcohol, and DUI.

August 12

The Sheriff’s Offfice reported mailbox damage on St. Rt. 177 near Okawville, IL.

The Sheriff’s Office arrested Jeremy R. Wheat, 37 of Carlyle, IL on an outstanding Washington County Warrant.

The Sheriff’s Office arrested Brandon W. Rogers, 34 of Okawville, IL. on a Washington County Warrant.

The Sheriff’s Office responded to a domestic disturbance in rural Ashley.

August 13

The Sheriff’s Office returned a phone call to a Marissa, IL. resident regarding Identity Theft.

August 14

The Sheriff’s Office responded to a suspicious activity call in rural Hoyelton.

The Sheriff’s Office took a report of Criminal Damage to Property from two residences in Hoyleton

The Sheriff’s Office responded to an address in Richview for a report of a verbal domestic disturbance.

August 15

Jesus P. Rivera, 28 of Elkville, was arrested by the Washington County Sheriff’s Office for Driving While License Suspended.

The Sheriff’s Office assisted the Illinois State Police with a traffic stop.

The Sheriff’s Office assisted a motorist on Interstate 64.

The Sheriff’s Office assisted a stranded motorist in Oakdale.

August 16

The Sheriff’s Office received a report of a motorist assist on Interstate 64.

The Sheriff’s Office responded to a suspicious activity report in rural Hoyleton.

The Sheriff’s Office responded to Irvington regarding a telephone harassment report.
