Skorczewski-Skorch Reunion

On August 2, 2015, we held our 49th annual reunion. We had 64 in attendance. A potluck lunch was enjoyed. We then celebrated Marge Epplins birthday, as she was the oldest and had turned 87 on August 1.

Kinleigh Ann Barton, seven month old daughter of Dustin Barton was the youngest. The families coming from Sparta, IL. Traveled the furthest.

We enjoyed the day renewing friendships and talking about the past. Over the year we lost Margie Langa, She had helped start the reunion. We also lost Zachary Epplin, son of Doug and Beverly Epplin. He was the grandson of Jan and Bob Epplin. He was only nineteen and lost his fight against cancer. He was a good soccer player and loved by all.

Those attending are: Bill and Judy Sheriff, Ty, Landon and John Sheriff, Fr. Carl Kabat O.M.I. Fred and Beverly Kreger, Richard Spotanski, Amber and Tom Kabat, Larry Kabat, Greg and Margie Barton, Dustin Barton and daughter, Kinleigh.

Also present Lois Langa, Dave and Diane Skorch, Martin and Randie Skorch, daughters Miranda, Martina and Michaela. Thomas Skorch, Jim Kabat and son, Nathan, Tom and Rose Skorch, Ardie Skorch, Jan Epplin, Scott, Kara, Kyle and Kris Kreger.

Additionally, Marcia and Maurice Krisby, Margie Kabat, Shirley Bigham, Don and Fran Yager, Jessica and Shawn Plumlee, Paula Skorch, Tyler Skorch and guest Hailey Wisenart, Richelle Lietz and sons, Lucas and Andrew.

The family will meet for the 50th reunion on August 7, 2016. Please notify any family you can, as we would love to see more of the family. It will again be in DuBois at the Terry Deering hall. Potluck lunch will begin at 1:00 p..m.
