Mr. Billy J. McNail departed this life at St. John’s Mercy Hospital in Creve Coeur, Mo. on Saturday, September 12, 2015. He had attained the age of 79 years, 10 months and 6 days.

Mr. McNail was born on November 6, 1935 in Ashley, the son of George and Mary (Braswell) McNail. He was united in marriage to Barbara Forys on October 12, 1957 at St. Michael Catholic Church in Radom, and she survives his passing.

Billy was a member of the United States Army. He worked as an electrical engineer at Boeing for over 35 years till his retirement in 1992. Billy was a member of the St. Peter Catholic Church in St. Charles, Mo. and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #312. He enjoyed hunting, motorcycles and planes.

Left to mourn his passing is his wife, Barbara McNail of St. Charles, Mo.; three children, Terrence McNail and wife Julie of St. Charles, Mo., Angela Smith and husband Anthony of St. Charles, Mo. and Sandra Lynch and husband James, Jr.; a sister, Rena Griese of St. Louis, Mo.; four grandsons, Patrick McNail, Thomas Smith, James Lynch, III and Christopher Lynch; four great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Paul McNail; three sisters, Vivian Wilson, Georgia Fieseler and Becky Joan Wisniewski; and a grandson, Michael Lynch.

Mass of Christian burial will be held at St. Michael Catholic Church in Radom, on Saturday, September 19, 2015 at 10 A.M. with Fr. Oliver Nwachukwu officiating and with interment to follow in the church cemetery. Military graveside rites will be accorded by the American Legion Post #110.

Friends may call at the Campagna Funeral Home in Ashley, on Friday from 5 P.M. until 8 P.M. and on Saturday from 7:30 A.M. until 9:30 A.M. The rosary will be recited at the funeral home Friday evening at 7:30 P.M.

Should friends desire mass offering or memorials can be made to the St. Michael Cemetery or Mt. Zion Cemetery and will be accepted by the Campagna Funeral Home.
