September 8

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office responded to a motorist assist on I-64 at the 46 mile marker.

The Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of suspicious activity in Irvington.

September 9

The Sheriff’s Office responded to a domestic trouble incident in New Minden.

The Sheriff’s Office took a report of Criminal Damage to Property. Wayne A. Harre stated that someone drove a vehicle through a cornfield damaging crops and the field.

The Sheriff’s Office reported a two car accident in Ashley, on St. Rt. 15 and S. West Railroad St. Heather L. McFeron, 33 of Nashville, struck the vehicle in front of her driven by Janice K. Dunphy,50 of Godfrey. McFeron was cited for Failure to Reduce Speed.

The Sheriff’s Office took a fraud report from a citizen in Ashley.

September 10

The Sheriff’s Office assisted the Nashville Police Department on a domestic call.

The Sheriff’s Office responded to an accident on Weaver Creek Rd. Albert Rudet, 64 of Addieville stuck a deer with his vehicle.

The Sheriff’s Office responded to a two vehicle accident occurring on State Route 160. A vehicle driven by Shirley M. Seering, 87, of Addieville was traveling south-bound on St Rt. 160 and began to slow in order to turn west-bound on Raven Rd. A vehicle driven by Julie K. Shaffer, 32 of Nashville was traveling south-bound on St. Rt. 160 failed to reduce speed and struck the back of Shirley’s vehicle. Both vehicles were towed away from the scene but no injuries were reported. A citation was issued to Shaffer for Failure to Reduce Speed to Avoid an Accident.

The Sheriff’s Office received a report of reckless driving in rural Hoyleton.

The Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of debris in the roadway on Waterworks Rd in Okawville. A large branch was removed from the road.

The Sheriff’s Office responded to a one vehicle accident in Addieville. A tree branch fell on the victim’s vehicle. Jacquiline Sutton was able to drive the vehicle from the scene.

A Washington County Sheriff’s Deputy responded to St. Rt. 153 south of County Highway 10 and provided traffic control until IDOT removed a fallen tree from the road.

September 11

The Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of domestic trouble in Irvington.

September 12

The Sheriff’s Office received a call of a juvenile problem in Irvington.

The Sheriff’s Office arrested Kyunia Jones, 19 from Hoyleton for Battery.

September 13

The Sheriff’s Office responded to a neighborhood trouble incident in Hoyleton.

The Sheriff’s Office took a report of a possible burglary that had occurred in a residence in rural Okawville.

The Sheriff’s Office responded to a one vehicle traffic crash on Nebraska Rd. near Indian Trail Rd. Ralph Gogolek from rural DuBois exited the roadway and overturned in a ditch. Gogolek refused medical treatment.

The Sheriff’s Office responded to a domestic disturbance at a residence in rural Ashley.

The Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a theft in Ashley.

The Sheriff’s Office responded to a loud noise complaint in Ashley.
