Washington County Hospital hosted a Red Cross Blood Drive held on Tuesday, September 8.

There was an amazing turnout of blood donors. The hospital collected 50 units of blood during the drive, which is 10 units over their goal.

The best news is that 3 people’s lives can be saved with each unit donated which equals 150 lives saved.

The WCH Women’s Auxiliary gave their time to help with registration and the canteen.

Mark your calendars. The next Blood Drive will be on November 3.
