Mr. Larry Hohlt of rural Addieville, IL departed this life in the Friendship Manor Health Care Center in Nashville, IL on Saturday, September 26, 2015 at 6:00 A.M. He had attained the age of 77 years, 7 months and 7 days.
Larry was born in Washington County, IL on February 19, 1938 the son of August and Anna (nee Ostendorf) Hohlt. He was united in marriage to Margaret Markotay in Sparta, IL on September 21, 1980 and she preceded him in death on February 5, 2014.
Mr. Hohlt was a lifelong farmer and he worked for Oelze Production Company doing maintenance and record keeping on their oil wells for over 40 years. He was a member of the St. John United Church of Christ in Plum Hill. He attended Okawville High School.
Left to mourn his passing are numerous cousins and friends.
In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by a brother, Roy Hohlt.
Funeral services were held from the Campagna Funeral Home in Okawville, IL on Monday, September 28, 2015 at 2 P.M. with Pastor Don Jones officiating. Interment will be in the St. John Cemetery in Plum Hill.
Should friends desire, memorials may be made to the St. John United Church of Christ Cemetery and will be accepted by the Campagna Funeral Home.
