John L. Rolf, Jr., 64, of Du Bois, passed away at 9:33 P.M., Monday, September 28, 2015 at the Washington County Hospital in Nashville.
John was a retired correctional officer and had also worked security at Good Samaritan Hospital in Mt. Vernon. He enjoyed golf and Vikings football.
He was born June 11, 1951 at St. Louis, the son of John Lewis and Cecelia (Pelczynski) Rolf.
He is survived by one daughter – Melissa Bochantin and husband Mark of Troy, Mo., his fiancè – Kimberly Loss of Du Bois, four siblings – David Rolf and wife Pat of Nashville, Ray Stanowski and wife Pat of Nashville, Carol Gann and husband Joel of Bradenton, Fla., and Kevin Stanowski and wife Laurie of Nashville, two grandchildren – Mallory Bochantin and Levi Bochantin, both of Troy, Mo., his former wife – Jeanette Rolf of Nashville, and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and two step fathers – Stanley Stanowski and Raymond Schilling.
Family graveside service was held on Friday, October 2, 2015 at the Calvary Cemetery in St. Louis, Mo. with Rev. Joe Wagner officiating.
Burial was at the Calvary Cemetery at St. Louis, Mo.
