Caleb Meyer of Claremore, Okla., formerly of Oakdale, received his advanced clinical practice degree from Frontier Nursing University. Meyer graduated with a Master of Science in Nursing degree with a family nurse practitioner specialty. Graduation ceremonies will be held on the historical FNU campus in Hyden, Ky., on Oct. 24, 2015.
Meyer is a Lieutenant Commander in the United States Public Health Service and is stationed as a certified nurse-practitioner at the Claremore Indian Hospital Emergency Department at Claremore, Okla.
Frontier Nursing University, a graduate school of nursing and midwifery, offers distance-learning programs, with a mission of educating nurse-midwives and nurse practitioners to provide primary care for women and families residing in all areas, with a focus on rural and underserved communities.
Caleb is married to the former Chrystal Heberer of Venedy, and is the son of John and Lorraine Meyer of rural Coulterville.
