Mrs. Martha M. Luba of Nashville, departed this life at Mt. Vernon Health Care Center in Mt. Vernon, on Wednesday, October 14, 2015 at 6:15 P.M. She had attained the age of 94 years, 2 months and 15 days.
Mrs. Luba was born on July 29, 1921 in Bolo Township, Washington County, the daughter of William and Anna (Pedtke) Kobus. She was united in marriage to Thaddeus Luba at Chicago, in June 22, 1946 and he preceded her in death on December 9, 1985.
Martha worked for 16 years at Stewart Werner and then later at Continental Bank and Pioneer Bank. She was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church in Nashville, IL.
Left to mourn her passing is her son Jack Luba and his wife Mary of Aurora; two granddaughters, Julie Luba and Sharon Lieser; a great grandson, Jack Lieser; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a brother, Lawrence Kobus; two sisters, Gertrude Fieseler and Irene Wisnewski.
Funeral services were held at the Campagna Funeral Home in Nashville, on Monday, October 19, 2015 with Fr. Andy Knopik officiating and with interment to follow in the St. Ann Cemetery in Nashville.
