October 12

The Nashville Police Department assisted county on Connecticut Rd with a semi in the ditch.

Officers responded to the 500 block of W. Walnut St. for a domestic dispute.

Police responded to the 400 block of N. Hoffman St. for disorderly conduct.

October 13

Officers handled a two vehicle accident that occurred in the parking lot of Circle K, 150 N. Mill St. A vehicle driven by Jennifer Szabelski, of Nashville, backed into a vehicle driven by Zach Lautz, of Okawville.

Police was dispatched to the Wash n Go car wash for damage to property. Darin Jenkel of Pinckneyville opened his door while he was in the automatic car wash and it hit his door and bent it backwards and tore off the car wash arm.

Officers arrested Matthew Sennholtz, 35 of Oakdale, for driving while license suspended. Matthew was also issued a citation for operating unisured vehicle.

October 14

Police responded to a one vehicle accident on Richview Rd. just east of St. Rt. 127. Chad Kottmeyer, 35 of Nashville, was traveling east on Richview Rd. from St. Rt. 127 when a deer struck his truck’s driver side door. Kottmeyer reported no injury and was able to drive his truck from the scene.

Officers responded to a two car traffic crash on St. Rt. 127 at Mockingbird R. Lona Sims, of Harrisburg, was stopped at a red light behind a vehicle driven by Ryan Hines, of Muphysboro. Sims’ foot slipped off the brake when a cup of water spilled on her foot. Sims’ vehicle subsequently struck the rear of Hines vehicle.

October 15

Police responded to the 300 block of W. Chester for a suspicious person.

Officers responded to the 1100 block of S. Washington St. for suspicious activity.

Police resonded to the 100 block of E. David Dr. for a loose vicious dog.

October 16

Officers responded to the 200 block of E. Maple St. for vandalism.

Police took a fraud report from the 11700 block of St. Rt. 127.

Officers took a report from an individual who lost his wallet in twon.

October 17

Police responded to the 200 block of W. Chester St. for a suspicious odor.

Officers responded to the 1400 block of S. Kaskaskia St. for a medical call.

Police responded to 140 E. Angie St. to take a report of an aggravated battery that occurred at the Fuzzy Duck. Police subsequently arrested Christopher Harper, 44 of Hoyleton, for striking Chad Bullock, 41, of Nashville, in the face with his fist several times. Christopher was transported to the Washington County Jail for the battery charge.

Officers responded to The Best Western in regards to a minor accident. No injuries were reported. Driver involved was Dustin Matecki who was turning and drove into a pillar by the entrance of the motel. An accident report was completed on scene

October 18

Police assited EMS with a medical call on Mockingbird Rd.

Officers assited county with a vehicle rollover of I-64.

Police assited county with a suicidal suspect.

Officers assited EMS on a medical call on E. David Dr.
