Captain Clayton’s Avengers To Hold Quarters For Autism Event November 13

Captain Clayton’s Avengers will be hosting their 3rd annual “Quarters for Autism” Quarter Auction and vendor fair on Friday, November 13.

Thanks to the generosity of the St. Anthony Men’s Club and Ladies’ Sodality, this year’s event will take place at St.Anthony’s Parish Hall in Lively Grove starting at 6:00 pm with a vendor fair featuring 20 different vendors, followed by the quarter auction at 7:00 pm.

Over 100 prizes will be part of the auction, as well as a raffle, and 50/50 drawing.

Chili, hotdogs, and drinks will also be available for purchase. Proceeds from this year’s event will be used to purchase iPads for speech pathologists serving KSED schools in Washington, Clinton, and Marion counties, as well as Angel for Autism of Nashville, and Daniel’s Autism Service Dog of Godfrey.

Captain Clayton’s Avengers was formed in 2012 in honor of Clayton Lintker, son of Dennis and Christine Lintker. Clayton was diagnosed with Autism in 2006, and attends 5th grade at Okawville Grade School.

Since it’s inception, Captain Clayton’s Avengers have raised nearly $10,000 through the quarter auction and t-shirt sales with the proceeds being donated to Autism related organizations such as Autism Speaks and Angel for Autism.

To reserve a seat or table at the quarter auction, call 618-713-0583. Walk-ins are welcome, but reservations are strongly encouraged.

Come join in the fun and get a head start on your Christmas shopping!
