Schultze Closing In On Record

Hunter Schultze, senior running back for the Nashville Hornets is inching closer towards the all-time career offense record for the Nashville Hornets football team. The record is currently held by Justin Morris, who played from 1997-99 for the Hornets, and totaled 3,771 yards

Currently Schultze sits in third place on the list with a total of 3,372 total yards on offense in his career. This season has seen Schultze pass 7 former Hornets on the list. Next in line for Schultze to pass is Matt Gajewski, who is second all time with 3,404 yerds of offense. Schultze needs just 32 yards to pass Gajewski for second place.

This season, Schultze has gained 872 yards on the ground as well as 365 yards receiving through 9 games. The Hornets have at least one more game left, as they face off against the New Berlin Pretzels this Saturday at 2 p.m.
