Trunk or Treat at the United Methodist Church was a success! Lots of fellowship, cookies, candy and cute kids in costumes.
This was my second year doing Trunk or Treat at the Church and I had a great time.
Ashley Library would like to invite all the local Veterans to stop by the Library on November 11 from 10 am to Noon for a reception honoring all Veterans.
I hope some children signed up for the Recycle Arts Club at the Library. It is a 5 week class with a cost of $5.00 for kids grades third through sixth. Pre register by email at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 327-8881.
Robin Ottolini Auction Services has a Auction scheduled for November 7 at 10 am at the 323 Main St.
Melvin Logan ‘s Auctions are every Saturday night at 6 pm at 178 East Main St.
Ashley Community Committee is holding the Christmas Bazaar on November 14 at the Ashley Community Building starting at 7 am until 2 pm. This will be a great time to start your Christmas shopping. Bring the kids along as there will be crafts for the kids, letters to Santa and pictures with Santa. Families and pets are welcome to have their photo taken with Santa.
Ashley Community Committee is in need of baked goods for the bake sale. If you would like to donate baked items please contact me.
Ashley Community Building doors will open again November 14 at 6;30 pm for a evening of Karaoke with J.T’s Karaoke and D.J. Everyone is welcome.
Santa Land is December 6 starting at noon. Pictures with Santa and Mrs. Claus for kids ages 0 -14 years and gifts will be on a first come first serve basis. No gift exchange. For more information contact Ashley Fortag at 316-8909.

Ashley United Methodist Church services are every Sunday morning at 8;30 am with Pastor Dennis Gambill. Sunday School is at 9;30 am.
I can’t believe that it is November 1, and I have roses that are blooming and both my clematis are full of blooms. I am sure it won’t be long and they will be gone.
I wish we had weather like this year round –– not too hot not too cold –– just perfect.
