Student Interview Workshops: FBLA is sponsoring a series of interview skill workshops open to all NCHS students. These worships will focus on how to prepare for interviews by learning about problem-solving skills, confidence-building, and good body language. To learn more about how to prepare for important interview situations, the next workshop will be help November 17 from 6-8 PM in Mrs. Goostree’s room.

Mid-Term: Mid-term of the 2nd quarter is Friday, November 13th.

ACT Prep Classes: Listed below are various ACT prep classes being offered in our area to help students prepare for the ACT. Contact Mrs. Luessenheide or Mrs. Maschhoff for more specific information.

* Kaskaskia College (KC) – A two-session workshop will be held on Saturday, November 14th and 21st at the Trenton Education Center from 8:00 AM – 4: 30 PM. The cost is $99.50 and includes a test prep textbook. For more information call 545-3475.

* Webster University – Three different one day workshops: November 21, January 16, and March 19 from 8:00 AM-2:30 PM. Cost is $50.

ACT Testing Dates: The next ACT test is December 12. Late registration is due by November 20. Additional ACT testing dates for the year are February 6, April 9, and June 11. Registration is typically due 5 weeks before the testing date. Students may register at www.ACTStudent.org. Our high school
