Thanks to the Ashley Fire Department for safely delivering Santa to the Community Building on Saturday morning.

Santa visited with the children and pets and posed for pictures. Ashley Community Committee held their Christmas Bazaar and had over 30 crafters and vendors. Ashley Community Committee charged admission and that money will be used to purchase hand sanitizer, tissues for Ashley Grade School.

Saturday night J.T’s Karaoke and DJ (councilman James Turner) donated his services to Ashley Community committee and ACC charged admission for an evening of karaoke. It looked like everyone had a great time.

Ashley Community Committee works hard to bring different things to Ashley and it would be great if more Ashley residents would come out and support ACC. The money raised at events stays here in town to provide things for kids and their families and ACC also donates a percentage back to the city for the use of the building. At the present time ACC has 4 board members and 5 members and a few volunteers. New members are always welcome. Contact me if you would like to join ACC.

United Methodist Church has services every Sunday morning at 8:30 am and everyone is welcome to attend.

The weather has been really nice for this time of the year. I hope we have nice weather for Thanksgiving.

Have a great week and if you have news or questions feel free to call.
