St. Ann Recap

The St. Ann boys basketball team went 1-2 this week as they took on St. Libory, TSJ/ILS, and Nashville Middle School.
The Saints got the week underway as they took on St. Libory on November 12. St. Ann was able to keep the game close in the first half as they were only down one at the break. The Saints trailed by two at the end of the first quarter, but chipped away at the lead in the second, outscoring St. Libory by one point. At halftime, St. Libory led 19-18. St. Libory came out in the second half, putting the game away. The Saints were outscored 38-14 in the second half of the game. St. Libory went on to win the game 57-32.
The Saints were led in the game by Logan Eversgerd with 14 points. Eversgerd was joined in double figures by Terry Pelczynski with 11 points in the game. Cole Malawy added three points in the game, followed by Braden Bauza with two points. Nick Miller and Aaron Stanowski each added one point in the game.
The Saints, then matched up against TSJ/ILS on November 13. The game was evenly matched throughout the first half with St. Ann holding the a one point lead after the first quarter, but TSJ/ILS came back to take a one point lead at halftime. The Saints came out in the third quarter on fire, outscoring TSJ/ILS 20-12 to take a seven point lead into the fourth quarter. The Saints were able to put the game away from there winning the game 50-41.
The Saints were led by Malawy with 17 points in the game. Pelczynski joined Malawy in double figures with 16 points in the game. Eversgerd had 9 points in the game, and Miller had 8 points to end the scoring for the Saints.
The Titans were led by Caleb Unverfehrt and Chad Brinkmann with 13 points apiece. Boomer Harris also scored in double figures with 11 points. Tyler Schill and Ethan Bening each had two points in the game for the Titans
