Borrenpohl And Leadendecker Marry In June
Jenna Kaye Leadendecker, daughter of Philip and Ann (Palek) Leadendecker of Venedy and Dylan Henry Borrenpohl, son of Hank and Melanie (Heseman) Borrenpohl of rural Okawville were united in marriage on Saturday, June 13, 2015 by Pastor Jeff Schwab at St. Peter’s United Church of Christ in Okawville, Illinois. Honored guests were the bride’s grandmothers, Lucille Leadendecker and Esther Palek and the groom’s grandparents, Dorothy Borrenpohl and Orville Hesemen. A special bouquet of roses in memory of their deceased grandparents, John Leadendecker, Don Palek, Harry Borrenpohl and Vera Heseman adorned the piano during the ceremony.
The ceremony was followed by an outdoor garden reception at the home of the groom’s parents. Guests enjoyed cocktails, yard games, a cookie bar, a catered meal and dancing well into the night.
Jenna is a 2008 graduate of Okawville High School, a 2010 graduate of Kaskaskia College with her Associates degree in Radiology and then received her certification in Ultrasound. She is a registered diagnostic medical sonographer in the Ultrasound Department at St. Anthony’s Medical Center in St. Louis, Mo.
Dylan is a 2009 graduate of OHS, a 2013 graduate of the University of Illinois with a Bachelor’s degree in Bio-engineering and a 2015 graduate of Northwestern University in Chicago with a Master’s degree in Prosthetics and Orthotics. He
is currently in his residency with P and O Care in St. Louis, Mo.
