Charles and Doris Schleifer Celebrate 60th Anniversary
Charles and Doris Schleifer celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary November 28 at the Original Springs Hotel in Okawville.
Charles Schleifer and Doris Kruse were married on November 19th, 1955 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Okawville, by Rev. F.A. Duensing.
They are parents of three children: Jeff and wife Jane, Jill Maschhoff and husband Keith, and Jason and wife Tricia.
They have seven grandchildren: Andy and Sara Schleifer, Justin, Josh and Devin Maschhoff, and Megan and Grant Schleifer. Also, they have three great grandchildren: Josie Porter, Kinsey and Weston Maschhoff.
Charles retired in 1995 after thirty-six years with the Postal Service.
