December Offerings At The Nashville Public Library
There is plenty going on at the Nashville Public Library for the month of December. Stop by and check out all the library has to offer.
Movies this month are:
A Christmas Carol on Tuesday December 8 at 6:30 pm
Arthur Christmas with hot chocolate and s’mores on December 23 at 3 pm
Big Hero 6 December 31 at 12:00 with games, snacks and balloon drop. Celebrate New years eve at the library.
David Wolfe will be here to reenact Christmas with the Lincoln’s on December 15 @ 6:30pm. As a Civil War reenactor, storyteller, and actor, David has worked hard to create accurate personas of the Presidents. He has presented Mr. Lincoln and other characters at schools, museums, libraries, and Civil War events for over 20 years.
In this program you will hear great stories of the Lincoln’s around Christmas time. You will see and hear what Christmas and the holidays was like in their time. Hear tales of what President Lincoln saw and did when he was a kid on Christmas. Listen as Mary Todd Lincoln weaves tales of how her posh life was as oppose to President Lincoln’s humble Christmas. Even Little Tad Lincoln tells his comical stories about his childhood Christmases. So sit back relax and enjoy the evening as the Lincoln’s take you back in time for The Christmas With the Lincolns.
