Santa Land Returning To Ashley December 6
It is time for Santa Land again.
This year it will be held on Dec 6 from 1-3 for children ages birth – 14 at the Ashley Community Building.
New Heart Fellowship Church will be hosting this for the second year with the help of friends and businesses that have made it possible. Thank you to Nashville News, Radio Shack,Wash-n-Go, Nascote, Fred’s Meat Market, Campagna, Action Amusement, Erin Hug, TJB Enterprises, Lantern Pub, Si Vallett, Erin’s Sweet Bow-tique, Vintage Junkee, American Family Insurance, Salons Zen, The Movie Store, Regions Bank, Brendan Montgomery, Innertech Enterprises and the City of Ashley for the use of the building.
Santa Land has been going for 15 years now and is a way to help families in the local community celebrate Christmas.
The Ashley Community Building will be transformed into a winter wonderland and Santa and Mrs. Claus will be there to greet the children and have pictures made with each child.
The children will also receive a gift from Santa along with a hat, scarf, gloves, mittens or socks, an ornament, a small treat, and drink to take home.
The Gideons will also be there to pass out New Testaments to the children.
The parents will also be able to register for prize baskets as well.
We hope to continue this tradition each year and with the help of the community we hope to make this possible. Thanks again to all those who have helped.
