December 2 Classic Photo: “Ringing The Bell”
Washington/Perry County Farm Bureau manager Bradley Conant contacted The Nashville News regarding last weeks photo, showing a group of men in front of a decorative paper “Liberty Bell.” In an email, Conant stated, “we’re fairly confident that the photo was from the 1975 Washington County Farm Bureau Annual Meeting on December 2nd at the American Legion Home in Nashville. The gentlemen in the picture are the newly elected board of directors for the Washington County Farm Bureau and we believe they are as follows:”
FRONT ROW, Orlin Luessenheide, Wilmer Harre, Delmar Perschbacher, Eugene Schnake, Edward Thomson, Jerome Schoenherr, Wilbert Borrenphol, and Vernon Aussieker. BACK ROW, Wayne Heckert, Thomas Schroeder (President), William T. Brammeier, Lawrence McClay, Stanley Wisniewski, Jr., Harvel Mittendorf, Walter Gajewski, and Alfred Harre, Jr.
The following day, Tom Schroeder, featured in the photo, also contacted The Nashville News to give us these names.
