Little Nashville is assisting Cole Herrmann in a fundraising effort for Cole’s Eagle Scout project: rebuilding the gazebo in the park. A bountiful breakfast buffet will be served this Saturday, at their restaurant from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Prices are: ages 11 to adult – $10; ages 3 to 10 – $5; under 3, no charge. The buffet will include your beverages.

One and all are invited to partake in this community fundraising effort. The breakfast buffet is open to the public.

As an added feature, Santa will be present! Bring your own camera and capture your Christmas memories.

All are invited to the 10 am worship service at Zion United Church of Christ in Hoyleton this coming Sunday. We continue our journey of preparation for the birth of Jesus during the season of Advent. The sermon title for will be:” Our Advent Journey Continues.” With the guidance and direction of the Holy Spirit and Scripture readings from Zephaniah 3:14-20, Isaiah 12:2-6, and Luke 3:7-18 we are led into along this journey.

The third Advent candle, the candle of Joy, will also be lite during worship as those attending will continue a time of preparation for the birth of the Christ-child.

Pastor Howard Self will lead and facilitate an ecumenical Bible Study at the Original Springs Hotel in the Lions Room. All are welcome to join this Bible Study which gathers from 10 to 11 am each Wednesday.
