Happenings at St. Michael Parish, Radom & Around Radom (December 9- December 15)
December 9- 6PM- Adoration, 6:30PM Mass (Radom) St. Michael Parish Council Meeting at 7PM
December 10- 8AM Mass (Dubois)
December 11- 8AM Mass (Radom) Youth are invited to sing Christmas Carols around the Town of Radom. We will meet at the School Gym at 6PM. Hope to see you and your families there to participate. Residents of Radom are asked to have their porch lights on if they want the Carolers to stop at their house. Carolers will be collecting non-perishable food items for the Irvington Food Pantry. Parents are welcome to sing with us as well and chaperone. We will have cookies and hot chocolate after caroling.
Dubois KC Hall Kids Christmas Party-Magic Show at 6:30PM, and Santa at 7PM.
December 12- 5PM Mass-(Dubois) Dubois Knights of Columbus Adult Members Christmas Party at 6PM at the Dubois KC hall. Anyone interested in joining the Knights of Columbus are invited to come as well.
December 13- 8AM Mass-(Dubois), 10AM Mass(Radom) Christmas Eve Choir Practice immediately following the 10AM Mass.
Advent Confessions at St. Charles Dubois at 3PM and St. Michael’s Radom at 6PM.
December 15- 8AM Mass (Dubois)
St. Michael Choir practice for Christmas Eve Mass at 5 PM is scheduled for Wednesdays, Dec. 16 & 23 at 7 PM and Sundays, Dec. 13, & 20 immediately after Mass. Everyone is welcome to come join the choir.
All Sts. Charles and Michael youth are invited to participate in the 5 PM Christmas Eve Mass at St. Michael’s Radom.
St. Michael’s 2016 Calendar Raffle Tickets are available now! They make excellent Christmas gifts!! Tickets are $20 each. Each weekend 2 – $25.00 winners are picked. The last Sunday of each month 1 – $100 winner is also picked. Only on the last Sunday of December – 1 – $300.00 winner is selected. Tickets are good for all year. Please pick up some tickets for yourself and to sell to family, friends, and co-workers.
St. Michael’s will have the $13,000 Giveaway Raffle again this year. Tickets are available by contacting the parish office, Beverly Schindelar, 485-6455, Jerry Watters, 485-2299, Marvin Winka, 485-2748, Bernadine Kabat, 279-3466, or the Farmers & Merchants Banks in Ashley and DuBois. Three Early Bird drawings for $100 Gift Cards (choice of Target, Menards, Kohls, Lowes) will be on Dec. 17. Five Early Bird ticket drawings for $50 or another ticket will be held on Jan. 14, 2016. These tickets will be put back in for the big drawing to be held at the Feb. 13, 2016 Valentine Dance.
Parish News:
St. Michael Parish Council meets every 2nd Wednesday of the month.
St. Michael Parish is still saving aluminum cans, and printer cartridges. Collections for cans go on the North Side of the Garage. Printer Cartridges leave in the back of church. Thank you for all your support.
