Addison Charged With Two Counts Of Arson For Traveler’s Fire
By Alex Haglund
Keith Addison, 29, of Nashville, was charged with two counts of arson following a Washington County grand jury’s decision to indict handed down on the afternoon of Monday, December 14.
Both charges levied against Addison were in relation to the fire which destroyed Traveler’s Restaurant on U.S. Highway 51 near DuBois on the morning of February 9, and the Sheriff’s Department issued a news release stating that the charges were due to the investigation that followed that fire.
Addison was arraigned in court and was then released on a $50,000 recognizance bond.
On February 24, Addison was arrested and charged with two counts of burglary and one count of theft, with one of the burglary charges alleged to be at Traveler’s occurring the same morning of the fire.
At that that time, the Sheriff’s Department said that they were unable to disclose whether he was suspected of the fire.
Currently, Addison is awaiting trial on the burglary and theft charges and now has the arson charges added on the same day, January 25, 2016.
