Marie Grott

Mrs. Marie M. (Broviak) Grott of Fenton, Mo., passed away October 29, 2015 at Delmar Gardens of Creve Couer, Mo.

Marie was born December 13, 1930 in Waltonville, the oldest child of Emil and Lena (Wagner) Broviak. She was united in marriage to Leonard Grott on September 3, 1949 in Du Bois.

Left to mourn her passing is her husband of 66 yrs., Leonard of Fenton, Mo.; Daughter Virginia Parker and husband Charles of St. Louis, Mo.; Son Edward Grott and wife Paula of Chino Hills, Calif.; Fifteen grand, great and great-great grandchildren. Brother, Raymond Broviak of Las Vegas, Nev., and brother Marvin Broviak and wife Judy of Mocksville, N.C..; Sister-in-Law Evelyn Paszkiewicz of St. Louis, Mo. and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends;

Marie is proceeded in death by her parents, sister Georgia Mae (Broviak) Gromadzki and brother Edwin in infancy.

Marie donated her body to Washington University School of Medicine, for the purpose of Parkinson’s research. There will be a Memorial Mass at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday December 22, 2015 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 10 Ann Ave, Valley Park, MO., with lunch to follow.

Memorials may be made to any Parkinson’s research of choice.
