Herbert Simmons from Coulterville was operating his motorcycle when a deer entered the roadway. Herbert werved to avoid striking the deer. Herbert lost control, exited the roadway, and overturned. Herbert was transported to Sparta Hospital by family to be treated for injuries.

Murphy, 31 of Okawville, was eastbound and disobeyed a stop sign and struck a semi-truck that was north bound driven by Timmothy N. Spenner, 51 of Nashville. Murphy received injuries and was transported to Washington County Hospital. Murphy was cited for Disobeying a Stop Sign.
