Police Report

December 14

The Nashville Police Department responded to Mercantile Dr. for a suspicious item.

Officers took a report of an attempted identity theft from the 400 block of N. Hoffman St.

Police conducted a welfare check in the 100 block of E. Third St.

Officers responded to the 200 block of N. Washington St. for a theft.

Police responded to an accident with injuries on I-64 east bound at the 48 mile marker.

December 15

Officers conducted a welfare check in the 100 block of E. Angie Ave.

Police respoinded to St. Rt. 127 at Mercantile Dr. for a domestic dispute.

Officers responded to the 600 block of W. Gardner St. for a fire alarm.

Police arrrested Shon Ridgeway, 33 of DuQuoin, for driving while license suspended.

December 16

Officers responded to the intersection of S. Buhrman St. at E. Gorman St. fro a two-vehicle traffic crash. A vehicle driven by Alaine Barsos, 24 of Nashville, proceeded through the intersection when it was not her turn and struck the side of a vehicle driven by Jonathon Barker, 17 of Nashville, No injuries were reported and a traffic crash report was completed on the scene.

December 17

Police responded to a two-vehicle accident on State Rt. 127 at the Interstate 64 west bound off ramp overpass. Injuries were reported, Marvin Bruno of Pinckneyville was taken by WC EMS to a hospital. Marvin was traveling north bound on St. Rt. 127, when Barbara Lahr of Medora pulled out in front of Marvin traveling west bound and both units collided. A crash report was completed on scene.

December 18

Officers conducted a welfare check in the 600 block of N. Mill St.

Police assisted State Police with a traffic crash just south of town.

Officers responded to the 500 block of W. Adams St. for an alarm.

Police took a report of an attempted identity theft involving social security.

Officers took a report of child custody interference from the 900 block of W. Verner St.

Police responded to the 400 block of S. Grand Ave. for a fight.

Officers responded to the 900 block of S. Kaskaskia St. for a domestic disturbance.

Police responded to the parking lot behind Hallmark for a two car accident. No injuries were reported. Drivers involved were Danielle Droste of Nashville and Valeria Opp of Pinckneyville. Danielle was backing up and did not see Valerie’s parked car, resulting in Danielle hitting the parked vehicle.

December 19

Officers arrested Joseph Rhodes, 26 of Farina, on a warrant.

Police took a report of an attempted identity theft involving social security.

Officers conducted a welfare check in the 200 block of S. Mill St.

December 20

Police responded to Little Nashville in regard to a minor traffic crash. No injuries were reported. Drivers involved were Darrel Holle of Hoyleton and Steven Herman of Missouri. Darrel was turning into an empty spot next to Steven’s parked car and when Darrel turned he made contact with Steven rear bumper causing damage. A crash report was completed on scene.

December 21

Officers responded to the 600 block of W. Walnut St. for a 911 static call.
