Mrs. Alice F. Decker of Nashville, departed this life at St. Mary’s Hospital in St. Louis, Mo. on Saturday, December 26, 2015 at 8:37 AM. She had attained the age of 79 years, 2 months and 6 days.
Mrs. Decker was born on October 20, 1936 in Posen, the daughter of John and Gertrude (Kemnetz) Mozelewski. She was united in marriage to Lloyd Decker on November 22, 1958 at St. Ann Catholic Church in Nashville, and he survives her passing.
Alice worked as a beautician for over 60 years and was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church in Nashville. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, going to auctions and listening to the Nashville Hornet and St. Louis Cardinals ballgames.
Left to mourn her passing is her two children, Diane Toedte and husband Paul of Nashville, and David Decker and wife Nicole of O’Fallon; five grandchildren, Jennifer (Josh) Maschhoff, Melissa (Brandon) Diekemper, Stephanie Toedte, Liam Decker and Emily Decker; two great grandchildren, Ila and Finn Maschhoff; other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Grace Brinkmann and a brother, Richard Mozelewski.
Mass of Christian burial will be held at St. Ann Catholic Church in Nashville, on Thursday, December 31, 2015 at 10 AM with Fr. Andy Knopik officiating and with interment to follow in the St. Paul Cemetery in Nashville.
Friends may call at the Campagna Funeral Home in Nashville, on Wednesday from 5 PM until 8 PM and on Thursday from 7:30 AM until 9:30 AM.
Should friends desire, mass offerings or memorials may be made to the Hope Lodge in St. Louis, Mo. and will be accepted by the Campagna Funeral Home.
