Mrs. Judy A. Johnson of Nashville, IL departed this life at her residence in Nashville on Friday, December 25, 2015 at 12:35 PM. She had attained the age of 65 years, 4 months and 12 days.

Mrs. Johnson was born on August 13, 1950 the daughter of Frank and Ruby (Leutern) Lindberg. She was united in marriage to Steve Johnson on May 1, 1976 in Nashville, and he survives her passing.

Judy received her Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics from Eastern Illinois University and her Master’s Degree in Mathematics from Southern Illinois University in Carbondale. She worked as a teacher at Nashville Community High School in Nashville, for over 35 years, until her retirement. Judy enjoyed operating her craft company, Judy and Co. She was an avid Collector of Pez and dealt with fellow collectors all over the world. Judy loved shopping and vacationing with her family.

Left to mourn her passing is her husband, Steve Johnson of Nashville; a daughter, Jamie Johnson of Alexandria, Va.; a brother and sister, a niece, a nephew and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother.

Per the wishes of Judy and her family, cremation was performed and a memorial service was held at the Campagna Funeral Home in Nashville on Tuesday, December 29, 2015.

Friends may call at the Campagna Funeral Home in Nashville, on Tuesday from 5 PM until the service hour.

Should friends desire, memorials may be made to the Siteman Cancer Center and will be accepted by the Campagna Funeral Home.
