Sarah “Sally” L. Rhine

Mrs. Sarah “Sally” Louise Rhine of Nashville, departed this life at her residence on Sunday, December 27, 2015 at 3:47 AM. She had attained the age of 72 years, 1 month and 22 days.

Sally was born on November 5, 1943 in DuQuoin, the daughter of Henry and Dorothy (Corr) Keil. She was united in marriage to Harrison Rhine, Sr. on April 2, 1960 at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church in Todds Mill, and he preceded her in death on May 11, 1999.

Sally worked as a beautician for over forty years and she was of the Catholic faith. She enjoyed following her grandchildren’s sporting events, the St. Louis Cardinals, motocross and going to the casino’s with her friends. Sally loved spending time with her family and she was a great friend to many and a mother to all.

Left to mourn her passing are her five children, Jane Michael and husband Kurt of Hoffman, Carol Carson and husband Neal of Oakdale, Butch Rhine and wife Robin, Roger Rhine and Chad Rhine and wife Katie all of Nashville; a brother, Dennis Keil of Knoxville, Tenn.; eleven grandchildren, Jason (Jodi) Michael, Kristen (Jedediah Bushrow) Michael, Samantha (Gary) Tretter, David Carson, Jessica (Toby) Schaeffer, Daniel Carson, Courtney, Melanie and Cody Rhine and Korbi and Aubrey Rhine; six great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and brother, Thomas Keil.

Private funeral services for family and close friends will be held at Campagna Funeral Home in Nashville, on Saturday, January 2, 2016 at 10 AM with Fr. Andy Knopik officiating. Interment will follow at the St. Mary Magdalen Cemetery in Todds Mill.

Friends may call at the Campagna Funeral Home in Nashville, on Friday from 5 PM until 8 PM and on Saturday from 7:30 AM until 9:30 AM.

Should friends desire, memorials may be made to the BCMW or St. Mary Magdalen Cemetery and will be accepted by the Campagna Funeral Home.
