Santa arrived in Venedy Tuesday evening, checking on who was naughty or nice.
Members and guests attended Christmas Eve Services Thursday evening at St. John’s U.C.C. Johannisburg’s little white church along the road. The Sunday School students, Hayden Heintz and Peirson Krewinghaus, had a great performance along with the members that participated in the service. The offering was given to Colin Diekemper, son of Andy and Michelle, Grandson of Jeff and Karen Jones and Great-Grandson of Melva Doelling.
Christmas Eve guests at the home of Steve and Gina Droege were Ed and Laura Paszkiewicz, Stanley and Ora Mae Droege, David and Tiffany Droege, Stephanie Fahrner and Gary Collins.
Visitors at the home of Paul and Jeanette Segelhorst after Christmas Eve Services were, Pastor Art Eichhorn, the Haertling and Streuter Families and the Deckers from Nebraska.
Howard and Cindy McHenry arrived in Venedy Christmas Day and hosted the family Christmas on Friday. In attendance were Stanley and Ora Mae Droege, Steve and Gina Droege, Brian and Susan Wisneski, Kyrsten Wisneski, Kyle Pingsterhaus, Blake Wisneski and Serena Grapperhaus and their son Ryker, David and Tiffany Droege.
You can’t live on yesterday’s victories and expect a winner today.

Steve and Gina Droege treated Stanley and Ora Mae Droege to lunch Wednesday at the Shrine of Our Lady of the Snow Restaurant.
Don’t forget the New Year’s Day Dance at the Okawville Community Club Hall Friday from 2pm till 7pm with The Heritage and The Rendition bands.
Ryan and Kayla Droege of Jackson, MO arrived at the home of Steve and Gina Droege on Saturday for a post Christmas visit.
They also visited at the home of Stanley and Ora Mae Droege Saturday evening.
On Sunday, Steve and Gina Droege, David and Tiffany Droege of Millstadt and Ryan and Kayla Droege of Jackson, MO were among family and friends at the home of her sister Stephanie Fahrner in Freeburg for the Paszkiewicz family Christmas lunch.
