Mr. Lesley G. Cameron of Beaucoup, departed this life in the emergency room of the Good Samaritan Regional Health Center in Mt. Vernon, on Wednesday, January 6, 2016 at 11:35 A.M. following a sudden illness. He had attained the age of 66 years, 3 months and 16 days.

Lesley was born in Belleville, IL on September 20, 1949 the son of Roy and Sylvia (nee Plaminek) Cameron. He was united in marriage to Paula Mustain in Belleville on February 18, 1984 and she survives his passing.

Mr. Cameron was a veteran of the United States Army. He worked as a plumber at Scott Air Force Base. He was a member of the L.A.M.A. (Latin American Motorcycle Association) He enjoyed motorcycle riding and trains and he had a special love of animals.

Left to mourn his passing is his wife, Paula of Beaucoup; a daughter, Lacey Horn and husband Shannon of Shiloh, IL; a sister, Bea Cameron and Rich of Corvallis, OR; an aunt, Rosemary Sphilman of Trenton; nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and a host of friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Agnes Lou Klich and her husband Steve.

Funeral Services were held at the Campagna Funeral Home in Nashville, IL on Monday, January 11, 2016 Interment was in the Beaucoup Cemetery.

A visitiation was held at the Campagna Funeral Home in Nashville on Sunday and again on Monday.

Should friends desire, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or to the Washington County Partners for Pets and will be accepted by the Campagna Funeral Home.
