January 18

The Nashville Police Department responded to a threft in the 900 block of W. St. Louis St.

January 19

Officers responded to Holzhauers for suspicious activity after hours.

Police took a report of stolen registration in the 800 block of W. St. Louis St.

Officers responded to the 100 block of N. Mill St. for fraud and theft of debit card.

Police responded to the 600 block of W. Chester St. for a 911 hang up call.

Officers responded to St. Rt. 127 near Diedrich Implements for a one-vehicle traffic crash. Nick King, 18 of Hoyleton, advised he ran off of the roadway as a result of snow on the roadway. No damage was observed on the vehicle. Police assisted Nick with getting his vehicle back on the roadway.

January 20

Police responded to the 900 block of S. Mill St. for violation of no contact order.

Officers provided traffic control for Nashville Fire Dept. while they were handling a semi-truck and trailer that was on fire. The east bound on ramp of I-64 was closed until the fire was extinguished.

January 21

Police conducted a welfare check in the 400 block of N. Hoffman St.

January 22

Officers responded to an alarm in the 100 block of N. Hoffman St.

Police responded to the 600 block of W. Gardner St. for a civil issue.

January 23

Officers responded to the 500 block of W. St. Louis for a hit and run.

Police while on patrol located a loose dog at the intersection of S. Broadway St. and W. St. Louis St. barking and growling at a child walking on the sidewalk. Police determined the dog was not the child’s and held the dog until animal control arrived. The dog was brown lab mix and had tags, however they were expired. Animal control came and took custody of the dog.

Officers responded to the intersection of St. Rt. 127 at Mercantile Dr. for a two-vehicle accident. Also responding was Nashville Fire and Washington County EMS. A vehicle driven by Timothy Paulk, 23 of Trenton, was northbound on St. Rt. 127 and did not see a vehicle driven by Brandon Frieman, 33 of Nashville, that was slowing to turn onto Mercantile Dr. Timothy subsequently rear-ended Brandon’s vehicle causing damage. No injuries were reported and a traffic crash report was completed on-scene.

January 24

Police located a motorist assist on St. Rt. 127 at Enterprise Avenue.

Officers arrested James Tyler, 24 of Nashville, for driving while license suspended.
