January 20
The Washington County Sheriff’s Office assisted with a motor-vehicle blocking the roadway on State Route 153.
January 21
The Sheriff’s Office responded to a one vehicle accident occurring at the intersection of US Highway 51 and Interstate 64. A vehicle driven by Jil R. Curry, 35 of Nashville, lost control due to the icy road conditions and struck a sign in the median. No injuries were reported and the vehicle was driven from the scene.
The Sheriff’s Office responded to a one vehicle accident on U.S. Highway 51 south of Ashley. A vehicle driven by Joyce A. Buaza, 66 of Tamaroa was traveling south on U.S. Highway 51 when she lost control of her vehicle, causing it to enter into a ditch. No injuries were reported.
A Washington County Deputy responded to a traffic crash on Harrison Rd. In Nashville Township. A vehicle driven by Chandler Reid, 19 of Nashville, left the roadway and overturned. Reid was transported to Nashville Hospital for injuries.
January 22
The Sheriff’s Office took a report of fraud occurring in Irvington.
Carlos A. Ocampo, 34 of Nashville was arrested for driving while license suspended and given a verbal warning for no rear registration light by the Washington County Sheriff’s Office.
The Sheriff’s Office responded to a one vehicle accident on State Route 127 just north of New Minden. A vehicle driven by Chataqua L. Warren, 21 of Sparta, was traveling southbound on State Routh 127, when she lost control of the vehicle causing it to leave the roadway and enter a field. No injuries were reported.
January 23
Wesley J. Eddington, 27 of New Minden, turned himself in to the Washington County Sheriff’s Office to be held on a warrant out of St. Clair County for Failure to Appear.
The Sheriff’s Office arrested Jarcus D. Croft 36 of Mt. Vernon on a Washington County Warrant.
January 24
The Sheriff’s Office assisted a motorist on U.S. Highway 51 near Irvington.
