The study of scriptures on this first Sunday in Lent will include from the Old Testament Deut. 26:1-11, Rom. 10:8 – 13, and the Gospel lesson of Luke 4: 1-13. Worship begins at 10 a.m. and all invited.

Tuesday, February 9, at 6:30 p.m. Zion UCC will join with Frieden’s UCC for a Shrove Tuesday celebration to be held at Zion with a menu of sausage and pancakes. Included will be a pancake race.

Then on Wednesday, February 10, the two churches will again join together for the observance of Ash Wednesday services at 6:30 p.m. also to be held at Zion. Rev, Stacie Tate and Rev. Howard Self will be participating.

Congratulations to Clay and Rachel (Unverfehrt) Kincaid who were married this past Saturday!
