February 1
The Washington County Sheriff’s Office responded to a one vehicle accident occurring on State Route 15 near Orchard Road. A vehicle driven by Jack L. Luba, 67, of Aurora, Illinois was traveling west-bound on St. Rt. 15 when his vehicle exited the roadway to the right, traveled up an embankment, and struck a utility pole causing the vehicle to go airborne and roll over. No injuries were reported and the vehicle was towed from the scene.
A Washington County Deputy observed a vehicle that was in a ditch off of County Highway 4. A vehicle driven by Mason J. Drury lost control and left the roadway. There was no damage to the vehicle.
February 2
The Sheriff’s Office responded to a motorist-assist on Interstate 64 Westbound.
Amanda L. Wagner, 36, of St. Libory, was taken into custody on a Washington County Failure to Appear warrant and Driving While License Suspended by the Washington County Sheriff’s Office. Wagner was also issued a citation for Operating an Uninsured Motor Vehicle.
February 3
A Washington County Deputy arrested Jessica L. Armer-Kuehl, 28 of Okawville for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of Methamphetamine with the Intent to Deliver and for Possession of a Controlled Substance. James E. Ponder Sr, 45 of Belleville was arrested for Possession of Methamphetamine with the Intent to Deliver and issued traffic citations for Improper Lighting/One Headlight, Operating an Uninsured Vehicle, Driver’s License not on Person and for an Unlawful Number of Passengers. Charles C. Buehler, 39 of Eureka, was arrested for Possession of Methamphetamine with the Intent to Deliver.
The Sheriff’s Office and Nashville Fire Department responded to I-64 Westbound mile marker 51 for a report of a tractor trailer on fire.
February 5
Brett L. Hebert, 35, of Hoyleton was taken into custody on a Washington County Warrant for Failure to Appear by the Washington County Sheriff’s Office.
The Sheriff’s Office arrested Sally Sue Evans, 38 of Ashley, on a Washington County Failure to Appear Warrant.
February 6
The Sheriff’s Office reported Madeline M. Nelson, 21 of Nashville, drove off the road and into the ditch on S. Grand Rd. east of Co. Hwy 21. No injuries and no damage to the vehicle.
February 7
The Sheriff’s Office responded to a residence in Addieville, reference to a civil matter
February 8
The Sheriff’s Office took a report of Trespassing from a rural Hoyleton residence.
