February 9

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office responded to assist a motorist that had slid off of the roadway on State Route 127 north of New Minden.

Wynter B. Schultz, 24 of Saint Francisville, was arrested by the Washington County Sheriff’s Office on a Lawrence County Warrant.

February 10

The Sheriff’s Office responded to a one-vehicle accident whic occurred on County Highway 1. Joshua R. Maschhoff, 34, of Nashville, was traveling east-bound on County Highway 1 when he lost control of his vehicle striking a culvert and ditch. No injuries were reported.

A Washington County Deputy responded to Interstate 64 and assisted the Illinois State Police with a traffic crash at the 37 mile marker.

The Sheriff’s Office responded to a minor two-vehicle accident which occurred in Irvington. A vehicle driven by Fern E. Turpin, 75 of Pinckneyville rear-ended a vehicle driven by Arthur E. Henson, 33 of New Minden due to the slick road conditions. No injuries were reported and both vehicles were driven from the scene.

The Sheriff’s Office arrested Justin M. Brake, 42 of Richview for Domestic Battery.

February 11

The Sheriff’s Office responded to a two vehicle accident in Ashley. A vehicle driven by Juan-Carlos Guardian-Valencia, 22 of Ashley lost control of his vehicle at an intersection causing it to strike a vehcile driven by Tracy Sanders, 39 of Ashley. No injuries were reported. Juan-Carlos Guardian-Valencia was arrested for Driving While License’s Suspended

A Washington County Deputy arrested Clyde W. Crane, 58 of Addieville, for Domestic Battery, Assault, and Endangering the Welfare of a Child.

The Sheriff’s Office took a report of Harrassment by Telephone at the Washington County Sheriff’s Office.
